I’ll confess, I bought this immediately after seeing this post. Plays alright, a little basic, very simple and easy compared to a more mainline roguelikes. Or maybe “shallow” is a better term, not a lot of strategic depth going on. I feel like I’m missing something.
And as noted elsewhere, there’s no in-game mechanism to save during a run.
I mean, this is a procedurally generated dungeon crawler, running on the Game Boy Color. It’s literally a demake of an isometric 16-bit game now in 2-D 8-bit. If you can think of a better roguelike on GBC, I’d love to hear it.
