either someone using the worst possible excuse they could think of bc they care that little, or a monumental waste of energy and human effort because why in gods name would you make something look sloppy and soulless on purpose
I actually like the idea. I see it as social commentary about the soullessness of AI generated environments. Based on the trailers, that might fit in with the overall theme of the game, too.
well that certainly doesn’t fit with my snarky little quip now does it… /s
i suppose it’ll be up to execution, if done well i think that would make for an interesting experience. it’s amazing how quickly we’ve reached such AI fatigue, i love to see it
I don’t know, but to me this doesn’t look soulless or sloppy at all. As they explain:
It’s more about the errors that typically happen with Ai too. But it can be something your art direction wants to have, and by accident it looks like Ai generated. I don’t think they want it to have look like Ai generated on purpose, but the art they are going with looks by accident like Ai.
So they intentionally made a Bethesda game?
They did have API access.
It’s called creative direction.
At this point everything is said to be so generated.
